Dr. Kiran Katoch

Dr. Kiran Katoch is a distinguished medical scientist and public health expert with a career spanning over four decades in the field of infectious diseases, particularly leprosy and tuberculosis. She served as the Director of the ICMR-National JALMA Institute for Leprosy & Other Mycobacterial Diseases (ICMR-NJIL&OMD), Agra, where she led numerous pivotal research initiatives focused on diagnostics, drug resistance, and disease control strategies.
A renowned researcher and committed public health advocate, Dr. Kiran has made significant contributions to Indian national leprosy and TB control programs, working closely with both national and international health agencies.
